This module is a set of passive logic gates: two OR gates and two AND gates. Signals pass through the OR gates whenever a voltage is applied to any of their inputs. Signals pass through the AND gates whenever a voltage is applied to both of their inputs at the same time. Inputs are signified by silver jack nuts, while Outputs are red. Most Outputs are normalled to the input of another gate, meaning that their signal will automatically be passed on when no patch cable is inserted to the corresponding Input. Due to the passive nature of this module, there is some inevitable voltage drop as signals pass through it, and therefore other modules with particularly sensitive inputs may not register signals processed by ORAND.

3U 20HP
Euclidean Rhythm Generator making use of the popular concept of the Euclidean Rhythm, where a defined number of HITS is evenly distributed throughout a sequence. It allows two CV inputs for each of its four lanes - one for the number of HITS in each lane, and a second for either the number of STEPS in each sequence or for an OFFSET to its starting position. Each sequence can be assigned a different length, causing the rhythms in each lane to move in and out of phase with one another. A pattern of up to 21,840 steps is possible before repeating if the right settings are chosen. An internal clock or external CV trigger can be used to progress the sequencer.

3U 8HP
Quad Envelope Generator with four lanes sharing Attack and Release controls, modifiable by the Wonk parameter to adjust envelope lengths. Supports Attack-Release, Hold-Release, and Looping modes.

This module is a passive multiple which allows for a signal to be split between up to twelve outputs. The inputs are normalled, meaning that when a patch cable is plugged in it will break the connections between its own set of outputs and the rest of the module. Various mult configurations can be achieved: a single 1x12, two 1x6, four 1x3, or one 1x6 and two 1x3.

3U 6HP
Multenuverter QUATT is a buffered multiple, attenuator and inverter all in one. This module takes the signals presented at its inputs and passes them through to its outputs at a reduced level or with an inverted polarity. It also acts as a buffered multiple, meaning that the same signal can be used to drive all four outputs with no voltage drop. Finally, the first input is normalled to 10V which can be used as a static voltage source.

Frequently Asked Questions

Patcher aims to be the most comprehensive manager and database for modular gear, providing free access to public data. The project is open-source and available to everyone for free.

If you notice a missing module, you can add it yourself using the "Submit New Module" button located in the modules section at the top right of the page.

If panel images are missing for a module, you can upload them directly via the module’s detail page. Just navigate to the module page, and you’ll find the option to add images there.

Yes, partially. Export your rack as JSON from ModularGrid (requires a Unicorn account), then in the rack creator toggle "Import from ModularGrid" and upload that file. We'll match as many modules as possible and show you a preview split into confident, likely, ambiguous, and unmatched matches - you can resolve ambiguous ones manually before finishing the import. ModularGrid does not officially support this integration, so some modules may not match; you can always add those manually.

Use blank modules! Right-click on any module in your rack and select "Replace with blank" to create empty space. Blanks are available in all common sizes (1-20 HP for Eurorack, 1-26 HP for Intellijel). You can also add blank modules directly from the module browser - just search for "blank".
